Banking and Finance are the top most career choices made by students in India. The all-round demand for bank professionals has made public sector, foreign and multinational banks recruit more and more Commerce, MBA graduates, CAs and CFAs to enhance their efficiency. So, if you wish to work in these sectors you must study either of the above courses.
A professional qualification like:

Regarding the firm it will not be possible to make comments, I have heard about Amazon and Delloite as they come to colleges for campus placements. The choice would depend on where you wish to see yourself a few years later, your area of confidence, the pay and perk they offer and the working environment offered.
