If you are staying in Ahmadabad, LD is definitely good for mechanical engineering. MSU is also good for mechanical engineering. The difference is only that MSU is a deemed university and LD is affiliated with GTU. GTU prefers bridge course and design engineering activities whereas MSU is not.

Hi Ansh,
There are two Master's of Engineering degrees. One is in Metallurgy and other is the one including various other specializations. For metallurgy, students who have successfully completed the BE / B.Tech Programme in Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering or Mechatronics with minimum 55% aggregate, are eligible to apply. Sponsoring industries will also apply their own criteria for selecting students for sponsorship. And for the other course, you have to apply through ACPC, L. D. engineering. College, Ahmedabad. Best of luck.

Yes, you can definitely apply for the management studies in the institutes you like. You just need to get the information about the cutoffs required and the admission procedure of the same. Do the required procedures as soon as possible so that the seats are not filled up.
