Special category candidates to receive benefits in the form of seat reservation in BSc intake at Maharaja Shivajirao University, Baroda. However, no concession in the form of admission criteria or fees is offered to such candidates.

Seat intake data for all BSc courses at Maharaja Shivajirao University, Baroda is yet to be revaled. According to currently available seat intake data, BSc in Clothing and Textiles courses has the highest seat intake at 40 seats for Faculty of Family and Community Sciences.

For Faculty of Science BSc courses, all general mode BSc courses have a seat intake of 144 seats.

Not every BSc course is based on entrance at Maharaja Shivajirao University, Baroda. BSc admissions which are based on entrance require candidates to appear in MSUB entrance exam. 

This is the only entrance exam accepted by institute to select candidates for BSc courses.

Maharaja Shivajirao University, Baroda BSc courses are considered among the best Vadodara has to offer. This institute has been rated very highly by its students for its infrastructure, placements and quality of faculty.

MSU, Baroda also offers more BSc courses than most other institutes located near it.

Seat reservations at Maharaja Shivajirao University, Baroda for BSc courses are not known yet. Faculty of Science has mentioned that out of 60 seats for BSc+MSc course, 10 are reserved as special seats. 

There is also mention of Supernumerary seats offered on government of Gujarat and MSU policy basis. However, this rule has not been mentioned for other BSc courses.

Maharaja Shivajirao University, Baroda has not mentioned a refund policy for cadidates who choose to cancel their admission to BSc courses. To get confirmation on this question, candidates will need to ask this question from admission desk of MSU, Baroda.

Yes, candidates who are yet to receive their Class 12 board exams score can still apply for BSc courses. GCAS will consider their entrance exam scores when deciding their admission. 

These candidates will be required to submit their Class 12 board exam marksheet to confirm their admission later in admission process.

According to GCAS counselling portal, candidates will be asked to provide copies of these following documents for MSU, Baroda BSc admission process:

  • Class 10th and Class 12th marksheet and passing certificate
  • ID and address proof
  • Passport sized photographs
  • MSUB Scorecard (if required)
