| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as one of the optional subject and secured the above mentioned percentage in the subjects taken together. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, the marks obtained in Computer Science shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry and Computer Science, the marks obtained in Biotechnology shall be considered. In case, the candidate has not studied Chemistry, Computer Science & Biotechnology, the marks obtained in Biology shall be considered. Candidates belonging to SEBC/ PwD category will have a relaxation of 5% marks in the qualifying examination. Applicants should have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2020. There is no upper age limit. Result awaited students are also eligible to apply on provisional basis. |

Among the diverse eligibility criteria, the most important one to get admission in any of the Basic Teacher Training colleges in the nation is the successful completion of higher secondary or 10+2 level of examination. It is preferable to score at least 50 % marks in the 10 + 2 level of study. BTC (Basic Training Certificate): Admission Process
The admission process of course is on the basis of the marks that are obtained in the 12th class examination. Admissions are conducted according to the guidelines and rules set by NCTE (National Council for Teacher Education) and government concerned
