BBA Eligibility

Rather than evaluating only academic achievement, we will consider candidates as a whole, including how prepared they are both to succeed in college and to contribute in the workplace.

The following criteria will be used to evaluate candidates:

• Academic Performance
  Academic history as well as proficiency in the specific subject area.
• Communication Skills
  Ability to articulate ideas clearly and definitively.
• Technical/Domain Knowledge
  Specific knowledge of a given discipline (e.g. Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, or Business Analytics).
• Analytical/Problem Solving Skills
  Ability to make decisions based on logical reasoning.
• Leadership Experience
  Participation in campus clubs/activities/committees and in leadership roles.
• Work/Internship Experience
  Experience from internships, live projects, or case studies.
• Interpersonal Skills/Teamwork
  Ability to work well with others.
• Professionalism
  Confidence; A positive attitude; A willingness to learn; and Adaptability.
• Evaluation in the Selection Process
  Aptitude tests; Group Discussion (GD); Personal Interview (PI).

GIBS Business School actively fosters a collaborative environment for students through active participation with peers, team interaction, and academic and professional teamwork activities. By engaging with one another's ideas, sharing perspectives, and learning from each other's experiences through case studies, live projects, presentations, business simulations, research assignments, and group discussions, students develop and refine their communication, teamwork, leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills through the peer-learning model.

Students are encouraged to work collaboratively with their peers on a variety of projects throughout their tenure at GIBS such as management fests, TEDx events, entrepreneurship events, workshops, cultural events, and club events which contributes to the creation of a campus community that is highly involved, dynamic, and proactive in creating an interactive and stimulating environment.

Throughout group work, the faculty members of GIBS provide continuous mentoring and guidance to students to support how to work together effectively, coordinate their efforts, and maximize their practical learning experiences.

Through its collaborative and cooperative culture, GIBS provides a basis upon which to improve both subject matter knowledge and build confidence/networking, creativity/adaptability, develop team management, to be prepared for impactful careers in industry and have the necessary competencies to meet today's corporate challenges.
