The GIBS College makes ethics, social responsibility, and sustainability a part of their school culture in a way that is both practical and nice for the students. They don't just teach ethics, they practice it through academic integrity, disciplined campus life, openness of systems, and extremely value-based faculty mentoring. They constantly encourage students to make ethical choices based on case studies, real-world projects, and in-class discussions. GIBS promotes social responsibility through visits to NGO's, outreach to communities, social internships, rural immersion, blood donation camps, and awareness campaigns so that students are connected to real-world social issues.Green initiatives around campus, going paperless, energy conservation, and conversations about sustainable business models in academic and industry sessions integrate sustainability into their daily lives. Through events like leadership presentations and student interactions, GIBS ensures students are prepared to be responsible, ethical and socially aware professionals when they graduate and enter the world of work.

Every year, GIBS Business School conducts multiple conferences, conclaves, and the flagship events listed below to connect students with industry leaders, thinkers, and innovators worldwide:

1. IRE Conference and Awards - The IRE Conference is GIBS's signature annual conference focusing on Innovation, Research and Entrepreneurship through keynote speakers, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and recognition of achievements from all over the world in different sectors of industry.
2. Global IRE Summit: Campus Biz Day and Finance Conclave - These events highlight student entrepreneurship, business strategic thought leadership and finance trends by showcasing the work of students with involvement from corporate leaders and academic experts. 
3. TEDxGIBS Bangalore - The TEDxGIBS event presents various motivational speakers to an audience of students to communicate "Ideas Worth Spreading". This allows students to develop their creativity in thinking and confidence in communicating.
4. HR Conclave and Alumni Meet - This event welcomes students and alumni to meet and connect with human resource leaders. It serves as a source for learning, career guidance, and professional networking for students.
5. Marketing Conclave and Other Thematic Conclaves - GIBS organises several themed conclaves such as the Marketing Conclave that focus on specific sectors to provide insights and strategies relevant to each respective section.
6. Convocation and Student of the Year Award Events - This event recognises both academic and holistic accomplishments and celebrates each student's success and the spirit of connectedness within the community it has created.

These events, in totality, provide students the opportunity to build professional networks, gain hands-on knowledge, develop leadership traits, and acquire career-related confidence and skill sets.

The new GIBS campus has an amazing combination of many different things such as beautiful plants and trees, well-equipped laboratories, and spaces for hosting events. Having an abundance of nature makes it peaceful and provides a fresh atmosphere for students to relax and enjoy themselves while focusing on their studies. At the same time, there are all of the necessary facilities that allow for hands-on experience and development of skill sets, such as Laboratory Equipment, Digital Classrooms, and High-tech Facilities. The other spaces on the campus that include auditoriums and large outdoor areas lend themselves to being a great venue for hosting events, seminars, cultural programs, and networking with business professionals. All of these elements combined make the GIBS campus more than just a school. It creates an environment that will allow for students to reach their full potential and give them the opportunity to experience all that college life has to offer.
