As per the SICSR, Pune's BBA selection criteria, admission is granted based on the scores obtained in the accepted entrance examination. The institute accepts the SET exam for its BBA programme. Those who score well in the SET examination will proceed to the further selection round. Candidates must appear for the online PI process, which includes registration, document verification, and online personal interaction feedback. Hence, the Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research does not offer direct admission for its BBA programme.

To be eligible for the BBA programme at Symbiosis Institute of Computer Studies and Research, candidates must have completed their Class 12 in the relevant stream from a recognised board. Candidates can check out the following points to be considered for the BBA programme:
- Passed Standard Class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognised board with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (45% marks or equivalent grade for SC/ST candidates)
