If you wish to go in the field of software development, then it is advisable to go for MCA. However, if you wish to go for people management, then it is advisable to go for MBA. Whatever you do, just be completely focused. It will give you a good and successful career.

BCA is a Bachelor degree course in computer application! After BCA if you are interested in Computers, coding, Programming, software development then you can go for MCA otherwise if u r interested in Management then you can go For MBA (IT), you can also go for PGDCA.

Repeated practice can improve that. BCA Maths is quite easy. So don't worry about it. If you really have interest to do BCA then go with it. But, if you want to pursue MCA Maths plays an important role. Competitive Exams like NIMCET AIMCET and so on gives importance to Maths. So, whenever possible practice Maths. Or else, join any institute which provides BCA+MCA integrated courses. But, if you want to pursue MCA from reputed institute like NIT, then Maths is important. Note that, NITs don't provide integrated courses.

MCA course is given on the basis of all India basis entrance examinations. Many top colleges and universities in India offer admission on the basis of merit list prepared as per the marks scored in the entrance test. Generally, the entrance examination is based on Mathematics and reasoning. There is a different exam pattern of each entrance test. The best universities are: Delhi University, Delhi
Jamia Millia Islamia, Jawaharlal Nehru University, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar
The University of Pune, Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University, Agra

You should have minimum 50% in class 12th (any stream) to do BCA. Some colleges prefer students who have studied Mathematics till class 12th, whereas there are some colleges which give admission to those who had opted Arts or Commerce. Suggesting you this in case you have some interest in Maths but if you hate Maths and love computer, go for BCA. Both have almost same career. So, decide in which you have interest. Both will pay you almost same.

There is no difference between regular BCA and lateral entry BCA if the course is done from a recognised university or institute. Lateral entry BCA graduates can get jobs which a regular BCA graduate get. Indian IT industry does not prefer BCA for entry level developer and testers role. BCA graduates may get a junior developer or application support jobs. Syllabus of BCA includes courses on computer languages, data structure, databases and networking, etc. BCA degree course programme is primarily focused on in the field of computer applications.
