Both MBA and MCA are good career options leading to long satisfying career. If you are technically oriented and good at programming then you may opt for MCA, else you may opt for MBA.

Hi Narayan,
Yes, you can give CDS examination after BCA. The minimum eligibility criteria (educational qualification) for CDS:
For IMA /OTA : A degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
For Indian Naval Academy: Bachelor of engineering.
For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognized university (with physics and mathematics at 10 +2 level ) or Bachelor of engineering.

BCA is a job oriented degree course and you can go for job immediately after BCA in Small and Medium size IT companies. Unfortunately Large Indian IT companies and MNCs do not prefer BCA for entry level Developer and Testers role and these companies may hire for junior developer or Application support jobs. If there are no personal conditions, you are advised to complete MCA before seeking a job in IT industry. MCA graduates are treated on par with B.Tech CS and B.Sc IT grads for Application development and Maintenance jobs.

Yes it's a good option.
But don't go for MBA just because you are not good in Maths, Maths is in both MCA & MBA.
Go for MCA if interested in Programming/IT field.
Or MBA if interested in Management.
Make sure you do MCA from good college / university.
If you choose MCA then side by side of MCA do some certifications when you will be in 2nd or 3rd year as it will help you in getting good package.
Maths is hard I know but keep learning, give your best and someday you will love this subject.
Good luck.

India is one of the largest industries for information technology. I would say there are lots of opportunities in India after finishing your BCA.
Some of the IT roles you can start with-
Technical/Desktop Support Engineer
System / Network Engineer
Software Engineer/ Developer (WebApp/ Mobile)
Level 1 (HelpDesk) Engineer
Only BCA is not a good option to progress in career.
For a successful career you need to do Masters after BCA.
You can also do other short courses like software testing, web development, etc.
Just BCA or MCA are not enough unless you have extra skills.
