Hello dear,
If you want to do BCA after 12th (commerce), then it's good for you. If you want to change your sector. BCA is really a good professional course but the cut-off of every college differ from each other.

Not at all. Maths is not a per-requisite for a course like BCA. Yes, you'll get few mathematical subjects which needs you to calculate but then you'll be taught how to do them. So Maths, wont be a issue with BCA. Anyways, it depends upon Syllabus to syllabus.

Hello Abhay,
BCA has a single requirement, you to pass 10+2 with any stream up to 45% marks.
BCA is good for whom who wants to be a software engineer, if you wants to hardware and software both than u should choose B.SC IT( Information Technology) or Computer Science.

Hello Narayan,
I would advise you to go for good BCA college rather than an average B.Tech in CS. This is so since placements, understanding subjects, alumni, etc. count a lot in future.

In 10+2, it is your choice to select your subject. But, if you want to make your future career in engineering, then Maths should be compulsory.
