No its not a poor branch but it has a little low jobs for it students because it all depends on how much percentage u r getting.
and if u r choosing IT make sure u get higher percentage.

There are good opportunities in this field. But it will only be possible to grab opportunities when you also do MCA after BCA. Alone BCA will not work so much for you.
Therefore, try to do MCA along with BCA.

Yes , of course there are so many job opportunities.if u do MCA after your Bachelor's , you can get good salary too

B.Sc, CS or IT is mainly an academic course.
PCM combination required along with at least 50% marks in 12 th. After this you can pursue M.Sc in computer Science or directly go for M.Tech
Whereas BCA is a professional course. Maths is compulsory requirement apart from 50% marks in 12 th .After this toy can pursue MCA or even go for M.Tech.

B.Tech is better than BCA

If MCA is your future plan, then go for 3 years BCA degree. It will be much more fruitful. There is no value of pursuing an engineering degree from a below graded college. It will spoil your money and time. Go for BCA from a good college. All the best. Thank you.
