The basic cutoff is 50 %ile. To score 50 you need to get marks above 500 to get into a good college.

To get admission for BDS in government medical colleges, your score should not be less than 400 in general category. For reserved category, this should be 350.

BDS is higher and better degree in comparison to B.Pharm. BDS graduate can practice as a dentist. B.Pharm grads can practice as pharmacists and related jobs. BDS grads have better social and economical status.

If you belong to unreserved category you need to score a minimum of 50th percentile in NEET 2017, whereas, candidates belonging to Schedule Caste/Schedule Tribes/ Other Backward Classes, the minimum percentile to obtain is 40th.
