You should only be concerned about one program which you are going to pursue. The fee for BDA differs from institute to institute.
Dentistry has a lot of scope globally inclusive India. The thing is that, what are you going to do with BDS later.
The only thing you need to have is a well reputed institution with a high calibre staff (as in pvt colleges) and good patient input in the institute (as in govt colleges).
If you have the hunger to learn the skills . the sky is the limit.

Well, you can go abroad as well to pursue higher education or else u can give exams prescribed by the country u want to go and continue your practice. This affair can be a bit expensive and gruelling.
So if you want to settle in the USA for whatever reason, there are few states which allow Masters degree for international dentists. But to get into those programs there are no known criteria and also u have to go to every state dental association website then to every university website and check out the programs.
Even after that, those dentists will be allowed to work only in certain states and only the speciality.
If you are looking to go for just studies and then return to India lot of universities have programs like esthetic dentistry and implant dentistry but u will not get a license to practice there in the USA.

There are loads of options apart from 'doctor thing' which are:
Bachelors in the following subjects followed by Masters and higher studies for a good prospect
- Anatomy
- Biochemistry
- Physiology
- Microbiology
- Zoology
- Botany
They really possess excellent academic value especially for the first four, if you can pursue them and go high up the ladder with degrees you will definitely land up in a medical school/ Dental school which although might not give you a chance to be a doc but to make DOCS, studying microbiology can even give you a job in a food processing company as a research scientist like one of my friends she did Bachelor's and master's in microbiology currently she's working for general Mills Mumbai as a research scientist earning 50-60k although she joined back in 2014, so these are the subjects which can provide you with a window of opportunity, provided you get a right mentor, have a positive attitude, persistence, & most importantly patience as these degrees take a time for anyone to reach a level. Either you can search for a job in a biomedical company, you cud b a faculty in a med/dent school or you can keep your research going on. Hope you make the best decision.
