Hi,
You can complete 10th and preferably 12th and then you may take up courses.
1. You may do a Diploma or certificate courses in cosmetology, hair dressing, makeup, nail art, massage therapy, herbal treatment, beauty culture, mehandi or tattoo art etc. Consider doing internship post the study and then a full time job or your own business too.
2. You could also consider doing image consulting course and take it forward as a career. You have lot of opportunities for trainers in personal grooming across varied domains of people.

Hi, Oh, don't be under confident. If you are indeed interested in beautician course, it is a good field with opportunities.

Beauty courses can be done via Diploma, or even certificate mode. Make up, hairdressing, fashion designing, jewelry design, herbal beauty therapy, massage therapy, cosmetology, beauty culture, nail art. Yes, best is to apply to do like a internship under an experienced beautician to get proper hands on followed by your own business or working in a firm.

You could consider doing Bachelors (3 years long usually) in home Science in food and nutrition, dietetics, clinical nutrition, applied nutrition. Alternately, you can do Diploma courses in the above options too.

Diploma in cosmetology is about 5-6 months course. The fee will be between 1 lakh-2lakhs. I would suggest you go for the advanced course in cosmetology which is one year course where you can learn about skin, scalp, hair, make-up, nails, facials, lips, eyebrows and also skin therapy. After completing this course. Its fee would be around 2.5 lakhs.

Dermatology and cosmetology are two different. When we take cosmetology it's on-demand now as each and every person either men r women they wish to look beautiful attractive no matter what their profession is. After completing pg in cosmetology we will be aware of each and every skin type scalp type hair type and respective treatments.
