Candidates need to appear for the written tests consisting of Creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT) conducted by the Institute. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for a Situation Test. Admission is done through counselling based on the performance in CAT/ GAT and Situation Test scores.To get into PG courses, individuals should have completed a UG degree from NIFT, NID or any other recognized institution. Want to find a dairy-licious career?! Only because of the great programs, BASU Patna are unique from I know about other B-schools. Their B.Tech and M.Tech in Dairy Technology is alone highly respected but yes not limited to this. Additionally, they provide subjects such as B.Sc. Sc in Dairy Science and Technology; Food Technology, Animal Biotechnology are other undergraduate programmes that offer internships on processing, quality control or cultivation to ensure the students gain some technical competence whilelearning.

The placements in BASU Patna B.Tech (Dairy Technology) are mainly into food processing, government agencies and research institutions. Amul is one of the companies visiting the campus, offering an average 4 lakhs as package and going upto 8 lakhs. Internship in Bihar Dairy is quite often done. Higher studies or good technical merit always open up more opportunities.
