The institute release cutoff list after conducting the entrance exams. According to the institute, the entrance exams will be conducted in the month of July this year. Although dates related to the cutoffs are still not disclosed, but it can be predicted that the cutoffs will be released in the month of August. Once the cutoffs will be released, it will be available on Shiksha and the institute's official website to check. Previous year cutoffs were released somewhere around the month of July and August only.

All these courses have different kinds of specializations available, so that the students can choose according to their intrests. There are many courses which are available to pursue at BASU patna like BVSC, BTech, MVSC etc. But if we talk about the best course of this Institute, the answer will be MVSC. This is because MVSC has the highest number of specializations which is 14, available for the students to pursue like veterinary pathology, medicine, anatomy and histology etc. This course has the highest number of students currently studying. The placement packages offered to the students of this course are also the highest. So, all these factors are enough to say that MVSC is the best course of this Institute.

BASU- Bihar Animal Sciences University provide decent placement to the students. Although no official data related to the placement packages is released by the Institute. But if we see the students reviews, the highest package offered to students was around INR 12 LPA and average was INR 8 LPA. Although the ratio of the students who got placement was less. The top recruiters of this Institute are Amul, Mother Dairy, Sudha, Jivika etc.
