NIT Patna Admission 2026: Cutoff, Fees, Dates, Eligibility & Application

For the General AI category, the overall cutoff varied between 570 for MCA AI & IoT and 946 for Data Science and Informatics self financed. The NIT Patna cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for different All India quota categories. The cutoff was published in the form of opening and closing ranks based on the students' performance in the JEE Main entrance exam. 

As per the table above, admission in the first round to the BTech CSE branch was the most competitive for the PWD AI category. This is because the PWD AI category had the lowest round 1 rank among all.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 18001 and closing rank was 22270. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 24149 and 30091.
