The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna other than the General category are - 2362 for OBC, 35999 for SC, 112416 for ST, 2151 for EWS, 286278 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the General category under All India, opening rank was 1461 and closing rank was 2737. The cutoffs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in All India Institute of Medical Sciences Patna is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam NEET. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

The placements at the BBAU are not very high but for courses like MBA one can see placements happening at times.
There's a dedicated placement cell for all enquiries related to placement in the university. Only the students with the highest of scores get good placements.

The very thing that came in my mind is IIT Patna. IIT Patna has launched a course of B.Sc in Computer Science & Data Analytics (Online/In Campus).
Eligibility Criteria:
- must have passed 10+2 in Science stream with minimum of 60 % (cumulative)
- must have any of the following:
- Valid score/rank in National/State Level Entrance (i.e., JEE (Advanced/Main), NEET, CUET,BITSAT, KVPY/NTSE/INSPIRE scholarship holders, State Entrance Examinations)
- Valid score in International Entrance Test; US (SAT-I/SAT-II), UK (BMAT)
