Yes, it is absolutely possible. In India, there is no upper age limit for pursuing an M.E./M.Tech. Your experience is actually a major advantage for specialized research and leadership roles.
What you can do:
Entrance Exams: Appear for GATE (No age limit) to get into IITs/NITs, or state exams like TANCET (for Tamil Nadu).
Study Mode: * Part-Time M.E.: Many state universities offer 3-year programs for working professionals.
Sponsored Seats: If employed, apply through the "Sponsored" category in top institutes.
Direct Admission: Several private universities offer admission based on your B.E. marks and an interview.
Why do it at 40?

At Lovely Professional University, both B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering and B.Tech in Biotechnology offer good career paths but Biotechnology generally provides broader job opportunities. Biotechnology students can enter multiple industries such as pharmaceuticals, agriculture, food processing, research labs, and even shift into IT or management roles which increases their overall employability.
On the other hand, Biomedical Engineering is more specialized and focuses mainly on medical devices, hospital equipment and healthcare technology, so the number of core job roles is relatively limited. Still biomedical students can still move i

To pursue bioengineering at Lovely Professional University, NEET marks are not required at all because admission to B.Tech programs like biomedical or bioengineering is based on your 10+2 performance with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology. Generally, you need at least around 60 percent marks in your 12th board exams to be eligible for bioengineering programs at Lovely Professional University, though this requirement may vary slightly depending on the specific specialisation and admission cycle. Instead of NEET, the university conducts its own entrance and scholarship test, which can help you secure admission as well as fin

No, B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering is not offered at Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute.
At the undergraduate level, VJTI offers B.Tech programs only in core branches like civil, mechanical, electrical, electronics, IT, and production engineering. Biomedical engineering is not included in their B.Tech specializations.
However, VJTI does have some postgraduate (M.Tech) level exposure in biomedical-related areas, but not a full-fledged B.Tech course in Biomedical Engineering.
So in simple terms, if your goal is specifically B.Tech Biomedical Engineering, VJTI is not the right choice. From an LPU pers

No, B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering is not offered at Pandit Deendayal Energy University.
According to the official course list, PDEU offers B.Tech programs in fields like petroleum, civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, computer engineering, electronics & communication, and biotechnology, but biomedical engineering is not among them.
Sometimes confusion happens because subjects like biomedical electronics or basic biomedical concepts may be included as part of other courses, but a full dedicated B.Tech Biomedical Engineering programme is not available at PDEU.
So in simple terms, if your goal is

At Lovely Professional University, you do not need MHT-CET at all. LPU has its own admission process through LPUNEST or based on your 12th marks. So even if you are a PCB student, you can still apply for biotechnology or biomedical-related programs directly.
The eligibility at LPU clearly allows students with Physics, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Biology in 12th. This means PCB students are eligible for B.Tech Biotechnology and even Biomedical Engineering-related programs.
The only thing to understand is that since engineering includes some technical subjects, LPU may teach basic mathematics concepts during the course

Yes, as a PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) student, you can definitely do B.Tech in Biotechnology, but you need to choose the right colleges because not all accept PCB students. The good thing is that many private universities now allow PCB students without maths.
Now coming to your main question, here are some of the best colleges (especially relevant options including LPU):
First, Lovely Professional University is a very good option for PCB students. LPU allows admission without maths and focuses on practical learning, labs, and industry exposure. It is also easier to get admission compared to top government colleges, and placem

No, B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering is not offered at Dr. D.Y. Patil Institute of Engineering and Technology (DYPIET), Pune.
According to available course information, DYPIET mainly offers traditional engineering branches like Computer, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, and related fields. There is no dedicated Biomedical Engineering program at this institute.
Still this is where many students get confused. The D.Y. Patil group has multiple institutes, and some of them do offer bio-related programs. For example, Dr. D.Y. Patil International University (DYPIU) offers a B.Tech in Bioengineering, where you can lat

Yes, you can get admission to B.Tech Bioengineering at DY Patil International University with PCB and MHT-CET (PCB group), since their eligibility is flexible and allows students with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. With 70 percent in CBSE, you meet the basic requirement, and even if you don't have Mathematics, the university usually provides a bridge course to help you manage engineering subjects. So admission there is definitely possible for you.
Now if we talk about Lovely Professional University, the situation is a bit different. For B.Tech programs at LPU, including biomedical or bioengineering-related fields, Mathematics in
