Bioinformatics is a very upcoming and demanding subject. This department in BHU is okay. There is no independent Faculty for Bioinformatics. So teachers from other departments are authorized to take classes for various subjects like maths, statistics, computer along with biology. There is just have one teacher in this faculty who teaches bioinformatics. They don't provide any placements, that's a drawback I would say. Rest BHU has its own reputation. All the best.
