Though every branch of Biology leads to numerous research and breakthroughs, in my opinion, Microbiology, Genomics & Genetics, Neuroscience, Biotechnology, and Biochemistry are some of the branches advancing at a pace, creating new scope for research and employment.

No, a non-biology stream student cannot do Veterinary Science courses.
Most courses in Veterinary Science require a good background in Biology, which students coming from non-biology streams may not possess. These programs in Veterinary Science are science-intensive and need due qualification in Biology or allied subjects to fulfill the requirements of admission.

No, you cannot pursue a Dairy Science course without having Biology as a core subject in Class 12. Dairy Science course is a combination of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, and Economics that focuses on dairy production and product development.

No, candidates with no Biology background are not eligible for BSc Biotechnology. 
Since the base of Biotechnology as a discipline is Biology, hence it is a must to study Biology in Class 12 in order to be eligible to pursue a BSc Biotechnology. 
In order to pursue a BSc in Biotechnology, it is important to have a basic understanding of Biology.
