BITS Goa offers good placement for its BTech course annually. No, BITS Pilani Goa does not have any category-wise reservation for admission. Also, BITS Pilani does not offer admissions on the basis of management quota. Admissions are based only on BITSAT merit.

Hello, BITSAT is not that tough when compared to the difficulty of JEE Mains. But scoring more is a little difficult in BITSAT as you need to solve more problems. The syllabus would be the same and the questions would be easy to solve if you have proper concept knowledge and solving skills. So, you need to practice more and more problems and try to improve your speed and accuracy in calculations. Try to score above 300 which may ensure you a seat at any of the campuses of BITS.

BITS Goa BITSAT cutoff 2026 ranged from 211 to 274 for the General AI category in Round 6. Hence, students with a score higher than 274 would have a greater chance of admission. 

As per the aforementioned range, BE CSE was the most competitive Engineering course branch for admission, and Integrated M.Sc. in Economics, the most competitive Integrated MSc course branch with the score of 247.

BITS Goa offers a number of UG, PG, and PhD courses including BE/BTech, ME/MTech, MBA, BSc, MSc and PhD. These courses are extended across a truly wide range of specialisations with students able to flexibly decide their futures through their preferrences. The eligibility information for BITS Goa MTech enrollment is that students have completed their graduation with a min. of 60% scores. The whole length of the course is four sem.

BITS Pilani BSc Scholarships are offered to meritorious students who come from poor financial backgrounds. These scholarships are only available to students who have completed their admission process to the Institute. There are two types of scholarships available at BITS Pilani: Merit Scholarship and Merit cum Need Scholarship. 

The Merit-based scholarship is awarded to students with high CGPA in the current semester. 20 students receive this scholarship out of which, 10 students per batch receive 100% waiver off the tuition fees, while the others receive a 40% waiver. The cut-off for this semester was 9.2. 

The Merit cum Need Scholarship is awarded based on the student's CGPA and their parents' annual income, which should be less than INR 10 LPA. 

To qualify for a scholarship at BITS Pilani, a student can either perform exceptionally well academically, score high in the entrance exam, excel in sports, or demonstrate financial need.

Both BITS Goa and BITS Pilani are part of the Birla Institute of Technology & Science label with the Goa campus being newer and established in 2014 while the Pilani campus is much older with an establishment year of 1964.

To compare the two campuses one should consider factors such as infrastructure, connectivity, etc. alongside academic & placement concerns to match their needs.

As such in terms of BTech both colleges have:

• Similar Fees: Upto INR 25.85 Lakhs, total tuition fees.
• The Pilani campus has more number of specialisations with 30+ compared to 10.
• Placements: The Pilani campus has a better average package of INR 31.63 LPA (2025) while the Goa campus has a stronger placement rate of 82.10%.
• Infrastructure: As a newer campus the Goa campus has more up to date and better facilities compared to BITS Pilani.

In the end, students should make their own decision after careful research.

BITSAT 2026 result dates have not been released yet. The result will be available for download in the form of a BITSAT score card. The moderated scores will be available through the score card, while the obtained scores will be available immediately after the conclusion of the examination. Candidates will be able to access the BITSAT result/score card separately for every session.

BITS Pilani campus, Goa BE admission process will need copies of these following documents from every candidate:

• Class 10th and Class 12th passing certificate and marksheet
• ID and address proof
• BITSAT scorecard
• Passport sized photographs
• Transfer / Migration Certificate

BITSAT 2026 application form last date will be announced soon. Separate applications will be open for the different exam sessions. The authorities will not accept registration requests after the BITSAT application form last date. All candidates are advised to complete the application process before the final date; otherwise, they will not be considered eligible for the exam and admission process.

BITS Goa has a total of 10 departments. These departments include Biological Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry Computer Science & Information Systems, Economics and Finance, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Humanities and Social Sciences, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics.
