You can apply for the SRMJEE or you can take admission directly. After the counseling process few seats are left so to fill those seats they take some of the students for that you have to book your slot earlier.

VITMEE biomedical engineering paper will consist of two parts. The first part is about technical subjects and the second part is about English communication. The first part will carry 80% weightage and 20% weightage will be carried by the second part in VITMEE. Here is the complete list of chapters and their topics that need to be studied for VITMEE:-
1. Mathematics (Linear algebra, calculus, differential equations, numerical methods, probability theory).
2. Basics of Circuits (Kirchhoff s laws, mesh and nodal Analysis. Circuit theorems. One port and two-port Network Functions. Static and dynamic characteristics of Measurement Systems.

So, basically, there is no cut-off as such for HSC marks, but in order to pursue engineering, you need a minimum of 70% aggregate in PCM i.e. Physics, Chemistry & Maths. For specifically Biomedical Engineering in D.J. Sanghvi, if you belong to GCLM category (Gujrati Caste Linguistic Minority) then cut-off is 79/200 and in the open category, it is 81/200.
Please Note: The cut-off mentioned are as per 2017 and may not remain same for the upcoming years.
