Bengal Institute of Technology and Management BTech admission is entrance-based. Students seeking to get into this course need to pass Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 45% with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as optional subjects. Additionally, candidates need to provide a valid score of either WBJEE or JEE Mains.

The aspirants who are Class 12 or equivalent pass with at least 60% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ST/applicants hailing from Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and the North-Eastern states) in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics can apply. However, the qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised board. Apart from this basic eligibility, the aspirants must also meet the below criteria to become eligible for admission:
- Applicant must be a resident/ non-resident Indian National/ PIO
- Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics/Chemistry/Biology and English for admission to BTech Biotechnology, CSE Bioinformatics and ECE

The eligibility criteria to get admission to BTech courses at IIIT Pune is candidates must complete their Class 12 from PCM stream with a minimum aggregate of 75%. In addition, for admission to this course, the students are required to appear and secure good scores in JEE Mains, followed by followed by JoSAA/ CSAB Counselling. If you wish to opt for the BTech Information Technology course, you should have passed Class 12 in the Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects, with at least 50 to 60% marks. Further, you must appear for and clear relevant BTech IT entrance exams conducted at the national/state/university levels every year for admission to BTech courses in various specializations including Information Technology.

The selection criteria for B.E and BTECH at IMS Engineering College is you must have passed the 10+2 exam or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, for B.Tech in Bio-Technology you must have passed the 10+2 exam or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects.
