No, BTech or BE is not mandatory requirement for M.Tech admissions at MIT School of Food Technology. Candidates who have cleared a Food Technology discipline course with a minimum duration of four years are also eligible to apply for MTech.
Candidates applying for M.Tech for working professionals are also eligible if they completed a full-time MSc course in Food Technology discipline.

The average salary package offered to students is INR 7-8 LPA. There is a III Cell dedicated to train and assist students for placements. The highest salary offered is INR 52 LPA.
