The minimum eligibility requirements for admission to the MBA course at Indus University and Sabarmati University are almost similar for both universities. The selection process is different at both universities.

  • Indus University accepts CAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ Indus-MAT, followed by a PI. On the other hand, to select MBA students at Sabarmati University, the university considers applicants' CAT/ CMAT scores, followed by an ACPC counselling process.

To know which is a better choice, students must weigh both options based on important factors such as fees and ratings. As per official sources, the fees to pursue an MBA at Sabarmati University are INR 1.2 lakh, and INR 1.6 lakh to INR 5.9 lakh for Silver Oak University. In terms of fees, Sabarmati University is a better choice.

Sabarmati University does not allow direct admissions to MBA courses. To get admission into the MBA course, candidates are required to complete the whole admission process, which involves the completion of eligibility criteria, scoring valid scores in the entrance exam, getting selected in the cutoff list, etc. Further, applicants must register themselves in the ACPC counselling process.

Yes, Sabarmati University MBA admissions are entrance-based. To get admission into the MBA course at the university, a candidate must have given the CAT/ CMAT entrance exam or any other entrance exam accepted by the counselling body. 
A bachelor's degree from a recognised university, which must be at least 50 % in aggregate or equivalent, is also mandatory to get admission in the university.

The duration of the MBA course at Sabarmati University is two years, divided into four semesters. The university offers a general MBA course. To get admission into this course, applicants must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility requirements, appear for the entrance exams, register for the counselling process, and perform in the GD & PI rounds.

Yes, you can apply for CAT. The main criteria of eligibility for CAT is graduation from a recognised university. So, whether the education mode is full-time or correspondence, if the university is recognised by the UGC, the candidates will be eligible to appear for the CAT exam.

CAT score is a national level test and is not accepted by B-Schools outside India. For pursuing MBA in foreign countries GMAT score is accepted. Indian B-Schools accept GMAT score for admitting foreign/NRI/PIO students.

CAT is also accepted for Executive MBA, PhD, FPM and other such management programmes in top colleges in India. Similarly, GMAT is also accepted for admission to domestic students in to Executive MBA and such programmes.
