The admissions for the BVSc programme have already been closed at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for the year 2024. The online registration for the B. V. Sc. course was held until September 29, 2024. The admissions for this course are entirely based on the NEET 2024 results through the merit list method.

Candidates without having Mathematics or Biology will have to make up for their deficiency by taking pre-requisite courses in the subject (Mathematics / Biology) to be offered during the first two semesters. For admission into B.V.Sc & A.H and B.F.Sc. subject combination P.C.B. in + 2 science/equivalent is mandatory. Similarly, for B.Tech (Agril. Engg.), subject combination P.C.M in + 2 science / equivalent are mandatory.
