In India, to pursue a Bachelor's in Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc. & A.H.), the usual requirement is completing 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. Most institutions don't offer direct admission for Diploma holders into the degree program. However, it's always a good idea to contact veterinary colleges directly to inquire about any special provisions or bridge courses for Diploma holders.

For BVSc admissions, SVVU primarily considers NEET scores, and the cut-off ranks vary each year based on factors like seat availability, the number of applicants, and category quotas. A rank of 79,400 in NEET might be on the higher side for securing a seat in the general category.

Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) is mainly for admissions to engineering and pharmacy courses. But there are few colleges who accept it to BVSc admissions, it all depends on the choice of institution.

For Example, the College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences in Udgir selects candidates for the BVSc and AH degree course based on your MHT-CET score. And like this you could find few more colleges.

But, mostly the veterinary colleges, including those in Maharashtra, now prefer NEET scores for admission to BVSc.

As per last year Andhra Pradesh EAMCET cut off, Top colleges under 7000 rank are as follows :
  • Andhra University College of Engineering, Visakhapatnam.
