There are many good colleges and universities in Canada.
Below mentioned is the eligibility criteria to get admission into a good university:
1. You need to have minimum 2-3 years of work experience.
2. You need to score above 500 in Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT).
3. You need to score minimum 6.5 and above band in IELTS exam.
4. You need to have a good CGPA in degree.

It is hard for you as you have 11 backlogs and your IELTS score is less. So, chances of visa rejection are more.

Yes, it is possible and it is very common for mechanical engineering students to study aeronautical engineering. Carleton University, Concordia University, Royal Military College of Canada, University of Toronto, Ryerson University and McGill University are some of the top universities for this. I will suggest, you should opt for a Master's degree for future prospects but it depends on you. If you are looking for a professional degree, you can go for a PG Diploma. Masters is useful for a research oriented career.
