Yes, it is a good decision. You need to score good in IELTS. I would suggest you to score 6.5 or above and write GRE also.
Following are the best universities in Canada for MS in computer science:
1. University of Toronto.
2. McGill University.
3. University of Waterloo.
4. Queens University.
5. University of British Columbia.
6. University of Alberta.
Best of luck.

First, you need to clear GRE and get a score of 315, then you need to clear TOFEL. You need to clear these two exams to get into a good university in USA and Canada.

Age is usually not a factor while granting visa. You must get admitted to a university in Canada in order to get the visa. You must work on applying to good universities and competing all other formalities, so that your visa application is not rejected.

Canada will see an increase in international students. Same will be for other European countries. But, this will be marginalized over the next few years. US is the most preferred destination for higher education and will remain to be the leader in the long run. However, research spending is expected to drop in the US.

Hi Chirag,
Both the options are different. I will suggest you to pursue a course as international students are eligible to apply for work permit after they graduate. Passing out from a Canadian University will give you a good hold of the situation and opportunities there. What you want to study is up to you, you may pursue Masters in mechanical engineering if you want to settle down in R and D sector or switch to MBA or MS in management. Please visit university websites and see which program you want to do. Check the admission requirements and apply.

Hi Miral,
You should probably check with an immigration consultant for work related issues. It is very true that your degree granting institution must be recognized for further studies and work. Secondly, you must also have work experience and exceptional talents. You can think about pursuing another degree from a Canadian Institute and then look for a job there. International students can work for 2 to 3 years after graduation, if you get a good job you can apply for a PR too.
