You would need the acceptance letter from the university/ institute you are planning to attend. A Designated Learning Institute is the University which is recognized by the Immigration Department. (Here's a list for your reference). In case you are applying for Quebec, you would also need a CAQ which you would be duly notified.
All the best.

The 3 main reasons could be submission of incorrect information, your academics and finances. From 2009 onwards Canadian system is ok with dual intent, so intent of staying back in Canada is no longer that big an issue. Hi Pruthvi,
To get a visa you must apply to a college first and receive the admission offer. Admission requirements of colleges in Canada are very competitive, you must have good grades and must also take the IELTS or TOEFL. Accounts, Finance, Hospitality, Business, Economics etc are some options relevant to your background. Best differs from person to person. I am not aware of your skills and talents so can't tell you what is best for you. However you will know it, weigh your strengths, likes and dislikes and choose a field you will enjoy studying.
