Hi Zafar,
Now as you have completed your diploma, the question arises in mind that what to do next. Should I go for some short term course (of 1 year), or should I opt for BE or B.Tech in mechanical engineering? Or should I start searching for government or private jobs, instead? Hi,
Formal path for becoming a scientist needs a Masters followed by a Ph.D. degree. After your Bachelors , try to join a research based Masters in good universities like IIT, IISc, Hyderabad Central University, TIFR, etc. These universities also offer a joint M.Sc/Ph.D programmes so that you can save one year time.

Hello Praveen! If you have already got or getting a good-paying job then I suggest you go ahead with it and take some work experience(preferably 1-2 years). Then you can decide to pursue MBA. Work experience is always given significant weight age during the MBA admission process and afterwards too.
