Follow these 10 steps and eventually you may be in good position to apply to Google.
Stick to one programming language, make sure you can code with absolute ease in this language. I am sure Google don't have affinity to one specific language. Code them on Linux or Mac preferably. They are Unix variants.
Get yourself a good book on Algorithms and data structures. Complete the book so that you get the hang of all basic algorithms and data structures. (Book, Data Structures using C)
Learn other computer basics like OS concepts, bit programming, networking and about data bases (preferably the world's most popular open source database (MySQL)

You can go for M.Com or MBA in any of the specialization i.e, finance, marketing, human resource, etc.
You can also do MBA in hotel management because now a days its having more demand. You can also do CA/CMA/CS/LLB and MA is also an available option.
Since you are from commerce background, you can also opt for M.Com/MBA/. If you are hardworking, then you can also opt for CA/CS/CMA.
Hope this will help you.

For IAS preparation subjects like history, public administration, economics, constitution & geography are quite good. I've heard UPES Dehradun has come up with a special IAS oriented BA program for IAS aspirants. Its BA in public policy & administration along with IAS coaching & test preparation. The university has joined hand with an IAS preparation academy for this. Its very unique course but I think could be very effective for your IAS preparations.
