Here is the stepwise process for commerce students to become CID officers in India:
1. Educational Qualification: Graduation. Although Criminology is deemed useful, any degree serves the purpose.
2. Upsc Examination: Need to prepare oneself for the Union Public Service Commission (Civil Services) Examination since this is the recruitment mode into police.
3. Go to Police: After clearing the exam in UPSC, an applicant gets inducted as sub-inspector or assistant inspector in police department.
4. Specialized Training: All activities related to CID are learned after joining the police.
5. Physical and Mental Fitness: Maintain the body's fitnes

Yes, you can build a career in psychology if you are in PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Physical Education and English in class 12th. There are no high school subject area prerequisites for psychology as long as you are qualified to take psychology classes in college.
