To pursue MBA from a reputed college you must prepare for MBA entrance tests like CAT, XAT etc. You must get good score in these exams. Furthermore you must improve your profile by working on extra curricular activities and projects. You must also work on improving your general knowledge to crack interviews.

There are 5 things CAT coaching classes will never tell you but they are very important and must be kept in mind. They are
1.There’s Life past CAT
2.Get ready For CAT In A Way That Suits You Well
3.Try not to Rely Solely On Solving CAT Books

I think Self study is the best tool.
I would recommend that you try out the study material from IMS / TIME / Career Launcher as your first resource.
Some of the Books recommended for CAT are-
1.How to prepare for Data Interpretation for the CAT   TMH / Arun Sharma
2.Pearson Guide to Quantitative Aptitude and Data Intrepretation for CAT by Nishit Sinha
3.Quantum CAT by Sarvesh Verma
