CAT is a national-level MBA/ PGDM entrance examination conducted by the IIMs. It is one of the toughest examination in India. Students who are able to crack CAT and get admission in legacy IIMs such as Ahmedabad, Calcutta, Bangalore, Lucknow and Indore have very high probability to get good high paying management job and have a bright career.

A planning and scheduled study is required. Allocate time for each and every section daily, prepare and try solving problems quickly.

Experience in hand gives an edge over the other competitors, so one should try to gain some experience and then apply for good B-schools. IFMR, Great Lakes and GIM are good choices.

It depends on your interest, GATE will get you in M.Tech and will help in enhancing technical skills, management and business skills. It will be a slightly newer course in MBA through CAT. I have done Masters in science with newer way of learning MS through GRE. You can try for the exam keeping in mind your future career prospective and your field of interest.

Above 70% is a good score to get admission in B-school. To get admission in colleges like KJ Somaiya, IFMR or Great Lakes, interviewee also checks your profile and experience. Average CAT score goes to 85 percentile in the same.

There is no specific cutoff set by the college for CAT and CMAT.
Fees for the course is approximately Rs 9 lakhs, excluding hostel fees(which is 1.5 lakhs for a year)

Yes BBA students can get admission in IIMA. IIMs look for overall performance and potential of a candidate apart from academics, there is a significant shift in the selection process from academic-centric to overall performance and capabilities of the students. So, there is a good chance of getting admission even with low academic scores.
