No, it doesn't matter to which field you belong. For CAT, minimum 4-5 months are required to score well.

An exam of CMAT AND CAT is above 70% required and
for MAT is 500+ score r necessary to get admission in IILM for MBA.

Hello Pradeep,
You should find the best coaching institutes in Rohtak which are the most suitable for CAT and you should start self-study until you don't start your coaching. In my point of view, TIMES coaching is better for CAT coaching.

Last year, the cut off of CAT for SPJAIN was around 96 percentile .The portfolio should be exceptional for getting admission to this premier institute .

If you belong to general category, you need to score above 98.28 percentile to get admission in IIMs.
If you belong to SC or ST category, then you should score above 38 percentile in CAT exam.

I think OBC-A has been changed to open category, and the minimum of 50 percent marks are required to appear for CAT exam.

Try to do very well in the other sections of CAT exam other than logical section. All the sections are qually important so get to know the marks held by other sections and emphasize on them. If you study accordingly you'll be able to score 75% for sure.
