No, waiver of fee on the basis of percentile is not applicable. Yes, there may be some chances if you belong from reserved category (maybe).
Admission in IP will be made on the basis of rank obtained in CET i.e common entrance test.

Yes it is very much important to take these exams. Actually when you prepare for these exams you get to know and analyse things in a better way or it will be accurate to say in a logical way. That is very much required in a corporate world. So these exams test your reasoning and analysis capacity. So it is better you secure your admission through these exams. It will benefit you in long run.

You can not join IIMA without appearing for CAT examination.

You need to get more than 60 - 70 percentile. Exact percentile you will get by end of January and then you can apply for IBS. After that you have to fill the form and come for GD/PI in Hyderabad.

Yes, you can get admission in top notch colleges like IIM – A, B, C, I, L through CAT score. The colleges like FMS and JBIMS are known for excellent ROI. The other known colleges for placements are SP Jain, MDI - Gurgaon, XIM - Bhubaneshwar, XLRI – Jamshedpur and NMIMS - Mumbai.

Yes you can apply through both, the cutoff is 99.96 percentile.

CAT and XAT cut off is around 60 percentile. CMAT cut off is around 80 percentile.

It totally depends on your nature. If you are one of a kind who has the ability or can built it in himself to focus without any help then definitely joining classes is not required, but if you do not have this in you then someone is required to boost you up.
If you want to study alone then collect the question papers first and then analyse them and also collect the solutions. Make a proper plan and give proper time to each subject. Also, do not lose the focus during your preparation.
