Hi Magdalene,
You either choose to pursue MBA from private institutes that do not cater CAT score or choose to re-appear for the CAT exam in the following year. You may also consider other entrance exams like XAT, MAT etc. or else take up a job and gain experience in your relevant field.
Hope it helps. Please feel free to revert.
Wish you luck.

Yes surely you can apply for the interview through online for January 2017 batch, visit alliance.edu.in and apply for a date of interview and on that day if you are through the screening you will get admission. The minimum marks required for CAT exam to get admission with Alliance is 70 percentile.

Mathematics section in CAT does require practice and conceptual understanding which can be easily done by coaching and taking mock tests. It's a stepping stone to management as you require these skills unlike studying random concepts so work hard and prepare well.

CAT is not an easy exam to crack. It takes hard work and dedication to score a decent Percentile in CAT. Take some practice tests and find out your weaknesses and strengths. Once you know that, determine how much time is left for your exam. There are about 4-5 months left for CAT exam right now. So approx 100 days are left. Study at least 4-6 hours daily, each topic 1-2 days to cover about all topics in time. Do keep ample time for revision as it will ensure all your previous work is not lost in vain. All the best. Suggested study time 4-6 hours daily minimum.
