Hi Aprajita, congrats for your score. Previous year cut off for general category was 78 percentile. But,this time the institute has increased number of seats to 120. So, there is a chance for getting a call for GD/PI. So,you should apply.

I can not guarantee you for it but I would suggest to apply for MNNIT. In the end it will depend on your GD/PI.

I don't think you will get any decent college at 48 percentile. I suggest that you appear for CAT again and try to do better. Here are two links that will give you detailed information about cutoffs and selection criteria. http://www.iimahd.ernet.in/programmes/admission-details/admission-procedure-for-pgp-2016-18-batch.html http://www.iimahd.ernet.in/users/admission/files/Shortlisting Criteria for PGP 2016-18 batch_110116.pdf Let me know if you have further questions

No. Work experience is not necessary either for appearing for CAT nor for admission. However IIMA encourages you to have work experience before joining. FOr the same they offer deferred admission, which means if you are accepted in 2017 then you can go work for two years and join back without taking CAT again.
In short: you can take CAT when you graduate.

I don't think you will get interview call from any college with this score. 36 percentile means that of the 2 lakh students that appeared for CAT, your rank was around 1.28 lakh. I would suggest that you prepare for CAT once again and appear for it. And this time try to get better score. Also please keep in mind that if you want other institutes(apart from IIMs) to accept CAT score, you will need to apply for those colleges as well.

The college is accepting applications only for few more days. My suggestion would be to apply asap (before the Institute stops accepting applications). All the best!

Hi. First of all congratulations on your CAT score!
The cut off for this year isnt announced yet. If your sectionals are also as good as your overall, you will definitely get a call. :)

There are institutional level seats for which you would have to contact the college directly
