Hi,
As per your profile you may take CAT-2013 if you wish to pursue MBA immediately after completing your graduation.
CAT Eligibility:
The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed degree requirements and are awaiting results can also apply.

For UPSC exam you need work hard and you have to prepare for that at this time if you ant to clear UPSC exam , you also have preparation for CAT exam , you always should have an alternate option in your career

Hi,
Always remember, you should pursue a course based on your interest and skills as it will help you to achieve your long term career goals.
After B.E. / B.Tech, you have two options :
1) You may opt for M.Tech if you wish to study the technical aspect of the branch. You need to sit for GATE.
2) You may pursue MBA if you wish to move your career towards management line. You need to appear in CAT, MAT, SNAP etc.

Both Career Launcher, IMS, Jamboree & TIME are good institute to prepare for CAT or XAT but before joining any institute you should consult your senior who have joined coaching institutes before for CAT or XAT entrances.
They can say about real scenario of coaching institutes in Vellore .
As per my knowledge TIME's study material are really demanding.
Finally i would like to say you to work hard to clear CAT or XAT.

Hi Nidhi, Most good institutes take admission through CAT/MAT or CMAT. You can get in touch with some good coaching institute for coaching as you would need to score a high percentile to secure admission and/or scholarships in a good institute.
