Hello Lisa,
The cut-off varies for each category. For general category, your cut-off should be above 199 and for BC, above 198. As this is a highly reputed institute, you need to have a good cut-off mark.

It is not necessary to do a particular course for becoming a businessman. Just do graduation in any steam. You may prefer economics honours or go for BBA Bachelor of Business Administration) if you are economically strong. BBA will help you lot for getting your goal at right time. Bachelor's degree in Finance/ Mathematics/Accounting/ Economics/ Business Management.
Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com).

Can you please clearly mention your percentile? It will help me in giving you a better opinion. If you don't wish to disclose it, then it's fine. Anyway, your scores in 10th, 12th are not so bad. Your marks should not be an issue for you to get admission into XLRI.

This is not a big problem. I got just 71 marks in maths and 86% in 10th. After getting low marks, l took PCM in 11th because I wanted to become an engineer. I practiced to improve my maths consistently and now I'm one of the toppers in my class. You can improve your strength in maths.
