Rankings in JEE exams are decide on the basis of your secured marks. Percentage criteria is 75% which is common to all. More weightage is given to JEE marks.

Marks of +2 are more important than +1. You have to score atleast 75% marks to be eligible to take admission in NITs and IITs.

If you want NIT college, admissions are mostly done through JEE main entrance exam. But, if you belong to OBC category, then you should score above 130 marks for best NIT College. Suppose you got 85 to 110 marks, then you can be eligible for IIIT engineering college.

Dear Vishal! Your class 10th CGPA Matters when you will choose the stream in class 11th. Rest it's all depends on your class 12th marks for B.Tech admission.
