If you are aiming Stanford then you must be a highly brilliant kid with solid extracurriculars and skills which is keep you ahead of the many competitive applicants who will apply to Stanford. I will strongly advice you to go check the Stanford website and read the selection process, know what kind of students they prefer and build your profile. High academics, participation in sports, arts and culture, projects, Olympiads community services are some important aspects of the application. The more skills and academic strength you have better are the chances. As for the exams you have to take the SAT with SAT subject tests. TOEFL must also be taken.

MIT is one of the most selective universities in the world, if you are aiming for MIT then you must be academically exceptional. A solid amount of extracurricular activities will be required because they don't prefer boring students. What you will bring to MIT will be the question. My advice will be to apply to more than one college which is a common practice and not just rely on your MIT application since its one of the toughest.
