Yes, you can make your career in fashion designing after class 12th. There are two options for you to make in fashion designing:
1) You can do a 1 year Diploma course in fashion designing
2) You can do a regular 3 year full-fledged fashion designing course from college, if you choose 1st option that is Diploma course, in that you will learn about basics of fashion designing and wherever you study in this Diploma course, the institute will provide you job assistance. You should have your 12th Marks for Admission by the norm. Kindly read below norms of the exam:
Candidates applying for IPMAT 2018 should ensure that they comply by the eligibility criteria of the examination. Applications that do not satisfy the eligibility criteria will be rejected by the officials. The eligibility criteria has been approved by IIM Indore- the exam conducting body.
The eligibility criteria for IPMAT 2018 is as follows:
The candidate should have scored a minimum of 60% in class 10th/SSC and class 12th/ HSC or equivalent examination in case of General and NC-OBC category. Also, the candidate should be of maximum 20 years

Hi Mahir,
If you want to study Mechanical Engineering, you can target Germany, the best for mechanical studies. Admissions will be highly competitive though but you can give your best shot at applying. Also consider Netherlands, France, Spain, Japan, Australia, Canada and USA.

You can go for NIFT entrance exam which is held for BF Tech and B.Des, but as per rules and regulations of NIFT, they would be probably giving you some preference while doing the final selection for admission.
