Following are career options in field of IT:
(a) Development and Testing: In order to have technical career in IT, you require educational qualifications such as BTech CS/ IT, BCA-MCA, BSc-MSc CS/IT.
(b) IT infrastructure support including Desktop, server, networking, Telecom support. Most of these roles are filled by Electronics and Science grads or diploma and degree holders.

This totally depend on your interest, if you have science subject and you are interested in engineering you can do this. If you are interested in Government job, you should do B.Sc with SSC also good option. So, this is totally depend on your interest you should do some international certification course you can. Try different aptitudes exam and your marks is good for any course.

I completely agree with Megha Bhardwaj's reply. I would like to add that the term interest or passion at the age of 17 or 18 could even be a sort of infatuation. So while taking a career decision, do not check the interest level only as at this age, many students may have multiple interests and they may not be able to make the right choice. So, consulting a career guide would be a good option as the opportunities which are presently available and would be available after many years require careful consideration.
