Both the branches of engineering are equally good and have tremendous job opportunities. It entirely depends on how well you understand and handle the stream and increase your scope of growth. While deciding on a branch one should review the below mentioned points:-
- You should focus on what all you will study in each branch and choose a branch according to your area of interest and personal attributes.
- Opt for a stream where you are comfortable and sure to be successful.

and D.pharm is a 2 years diploma program

DU takes admission on the basis of 12th score but for few courses it conducts own entrance exam, so please share details of program in which you are looking for admission so that I can guide you in better way.

Salary is a function of various factors - I.e. (I) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - I.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile I.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure.
