you should do BCA and MCA also.because it is difficult to get good placement after doing bca only.u should have master degree also for good placement.

Firstly be thorough with NCERT and practice all examples too. Once you hv done that then switch to RD Sharma. Do understand that 80% of your paper is based on ncert. the rest 20% is conceptual and difficulty level is high and can be from any book. Practice last 5 years paper too.
