Shiv, you can make a sincere try . With 87% you may get into some Delhi university college. But it might be at a later stage say in the 2nd or 3rd counselling. But always keep track of the cut off's.

R.K.Singh, why does'nt the kid try in the reputed colleges of Delhi University. The education level is good there and even the reputation is better tha many other universities. One can apply for all college on a common application form and fill in the colleges of your choice given in the form.

U can look for NITs. If ur rank will be good u can get that. Or if u couldn't get NITs then look for private colleges. Good luck.
