Hi Ayushi,
Yes, you can apply for studying in Australia. You will have to clear standardized exams like GRE GMAT & SAT. A bunch of exams will also be conducted to check your proficiency in English like TOEFL, IELTS. You will have to clear the exams and provide with the documents that have been asked by the institution you want to join.

In order to score more marks, everything must be covered. If you think that it is okay with a few marks. You can just study the main topics in each chapter and skip some which aren't that important.

Yes, it's generally in today's generation, it seems to have a very negative impact whether in case of admission for higher studies or job perspective.
Just make sure your class 12th percentage must be above 75% or at least 70% since the criteria for jobs is that students who have less than 60 or 70% they are not allowed to sit for the job the interview (on-campus placement). If you are fulfilling the eligibility criteria then it means that you can get a job.

No, it is not possible. You have to appear for the exam again and that score that you get will help you to get admission.

To begin with both have different approaches to rendering education. ICSE on one hand renders deep insight and immense knowledge on any topic in its curriculum whereas CBSE on the other hand offers a practical and more superficial usable knowledge on any topic. Moreover ICSE is considered difficult than CBSE, due to its vast course content. However, both the boards are equally good in rendering their purpose of imparting education.
